Hello!
My name is Leanne Raeburn-Gibson and I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist. I am the owner of Mountain Roots Psychotherapy, located in beautiful Collingwood, Ontario. My roots run deep in this area, and I am thrilled to bring my expertise in the treatment of trauma and other mental health concerns to our community.
I am experienced in working with clients of all ages who are struggling with mental health concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, grief, stress, self esteem, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I draw on multiple evidence-based treatment modalities to create an approach that is tailored to you. The primary framework that I used to treat individuals, couples and families is Emotionally Focused Therapy, integrated with elements of Person-Centred Therapy, Family Systems Theory, and Compassion Focused Therapy.
As a passionate and dedicated professional, I am deeply committed to ongoing professional development and training in the field of psychotherapy so that my clients reap the benefits of the most cutting edge research on the treatment of mental health challenges.
